RR Manuals
Original documents for RR's are rare. We're lucky to have these collections so far and that the owners made them available to all of us whose RR's don't have any documentation.

Original Manuals and Documentation
from Steve Hartline's "The Lazy H"
These original manuals came from Steve Hartline’s 1968 14’ RoadRunner Travel Trailer (camper) named “The Lazy H”. They were an unexpected surprise as they were only found after purchase in the lower cabinet behind the wheel well.
RR owners know that documentation has been notoriously rare. This was a real treasure trove. One reason this camper may have kept them all intact is that this was a one family owned trailer. The man Steve bought it from said his grandfather bought it new from the L&M Manufacturing Co plant itself in Ephraim, UT. Then it was his fathers, then his. Cool.

Notes:
When she originally posted these in our group she explained, "I'm finally done with my project of reproducing the decals. Since I don't have any of the paperwork, I decided to reproduce a Warranty Certificate for it too. Thanks to Jonathan Sherman for the archive of other's paperwork on RR Revival, I was able to use a very good scan from one of the warranty forms to reproduce an accurate copy of the logo and the certificate itself. I'm going to print mine in turquoise to match my trailer. If anyone wants the full resolution files let me know [now that they are here on RRR she won't have to email all these files out individually to everyone!]. I have the certificate as a blank pdf that people can add their own serial number to and print it out."

2. PDF: 1969 RoadRunner Travel Trailer
Original Manuals and Documentation
from Misty Bateman's "Myrtle"
Misty shares that, "This document came from the original folder of paperwork accompanying the 1969 Roadrunner now known as ‘Myrtle’, and owned by Misty & Corbin. We believe we are the third owners of this fine Roadrunner Travel Trailer. The folder of original checklist, manuals, et cetera had stayed with the camper through the years. I hope that it is helpful to anyone with a vintage L & M Roadrunner Fine Travel Trailer.
"For more information on Myrtle’s restoration, please see my blog: www.ostrobogulation.com"
Please do. Myrtle is a gorgeous camper! It's a fantastic and very helpful resource that really helped me out when I (Jon) was first looking for information for our RoadRunner.

5. Roadrunner Logo and Graphics Files

Notes:
- Each of these folders includes instructions for use, and various file formats: PDF, JPG, and EPS.
- The color choices: brown, black & white, dark blue, gold, green, grey, melon, mint green, orange, red and turquoise. Each color combo has a matching door decal.
- Also included the Digorio logo for the newer trailers and the Warranty certificate too.
- Amanda said, "The files for printing the stickers all have a white die-cut background. Any graphics place that makes decals should be able to reproduce them for you."
- She also made a Zollinger Roadrunner logo for our other-manufacturer RR cousin.
When she originally posted these in our group she explained, "I'm finally done with my project of reproducing the decals. Since I don't have any of the paperwork, I decided to reproduce a Warranty Certificate for it too. I told her, "It’s a truly wonderful resource you’ve generously made to share. When I first started RRR there was next to nothing online about RRs. But now with RR Revival and this excellent Facebook group Annette Lloyd Davidson started here there is such a wealth of information, resources, and support for our little RRs like never before. And it’s a great community of people happy to share with each other. And now to be able to add this new graphic resource that so many will be able to benefit from is a real dream come true."
Another possible resource:
I wish this library had its materials online. I bet there are original ads for RR's in some of these. Those would be neat to find. If anyone's in the area, check it out and take pictures, get scans or copies if you can for us all to share. http://www.rvmhhalloffame.org/library.cfm

Had anybody figured out how to convert the doubles wide closet in a 1971 RR, into a porta potty room? Could use a hand here...
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hi. Our site is mostly an information resource. For questions I encourage you and anyone else to join The Roadrunner Travel Trailers Facebook group here. Steve and I are both active on there. Also, there are lots of helpful and knowledgable people there where you can get support and ideas. https://www.facebook.com/groups/451753901855019/
